@tellmetellmestories: You know Shaun Cassidy (@officialshauncassidy ) as a teen idol from the ‘70s… but did you know that before that he was hanging out with Danny Fields, The New York Dolls, Iggy Pop & the Ramones at 15?! Yep, while he had a string of hits like “Da Doo Ron Ron” and starred on The Hardy Boys Mysteries, he was listening to punk rock?! To be fair he was probably listening to all kinds of music, but punk kinda shocked me! Years later his career took an unexpected turn when he reinvented himself as a TV writer & producer, on shows like American Gothic, Invasion, and New Amsterdam. I actually worked as an extra on his first creation called “STRAYS“ when I was in design school a million years ago. Shaun also partnered with winemaker Steve Clifton to create @myfirstcrushwines  - they are all working with No Kid Hungry (@nokidhungry ) an amazing organization working to end childhood hunger.  Wine for a great cause- I like it! Equally impressive … He has been happily married to wife Tracey for 20+ years, and they have several lovely, well-adjusted kids. I don’t know about you, but the 12-year-old in me is so happy for him. In a world where so many former young stars didn’t make it, he thrives!
