America's total national debt is larger than its GDP and needs to plunder Venezuela's oil reserves in order to slow its descend towards a debt default. The orange buffoon tried to annex Greenland and Canada without success and has to look for an easier target in the American continent. There is a reason I can think of- back in 2017, Roger Noriega (former Bush era Assistant SoS for the Western Hemisphere) spoke at my university about Venezuela. He said even back then, Venezuela was supporting cartels and fueling the narcotics trade with oil revenues.
