My son has delayed speech and loooooves to sign, even now as he’s learning to talk. Our neighbor is deaf, so it’s fun when he can show her his sign language and she can teach him new stuff. My daughter and I also love to learn new signs.

I’ve been teaching my son these but he has made his own signs for please, water, all done. Is that offensive if he does them in public?

Accidentally taught my dog “all done” (bc she’d be sitting near my baby/toddlers for crumbs of course) and it’s been very helpful!
