Why the bonding connector for the building steel ground? I’ve always been ok running it through the grating in the bottom of the transformer to the bonding bridge without a connector.

In Canada we go continuously through the neutral lug then to case bond. Explained as you don’t want the neutral bond to ever get accidentally removed
