Anyway you are not supposed to drink hot tap water or use that for cooking, because there are more minerals etc diluted in it than in cold water.

it's chlorine they use it to sterilise the water and it evaporates in air or absorbed by the skin .. our water looks exactly the same in my country.

In Germany we say “Boah das Wasser hier ist so krass kalkhaltig !” and genau deswegen we are cleaning a lot mit vinegar oder Kalkreiniger and nobody säuft das Zeug ohne es zu filtern 😂🤝🏻

In the US our faucets have aerators on our faucets. They restrict waterflow, to maintain pressure in the system, and they mix air with the water which helps taste, smell, cleaning effectiveness, and makes the water stream look bigger so it doesn't feel restricted

So now you know what a Perlator is used for. It’s the little metall Part in the faucet that is at the end and looks like a little mesh. It mixes water with air and also reduces water flow to save water 🤗 you should clean that once a year 😅
