I’m an interior designer and I seriously wish there were more women contractors. They listen, refer to ID drawings, ask questions, communicate, and are detail oriented.

When my house was remodeled I had to take a group of men to the corner that I ripped out a counter/bar and replaced drywall, skip trawl and paint. I told them unless their worked looked as good as an amateur woman’s work they’d be redoing it 🙃

Love seeing how many girls are in the trades these days. I’m a plumber and everyone is so surprised that my work looks better than the guys. Like it’s not hard to pay attention to detail let alone fine detail. Maybe it’s just how girls Brains work but I notice every small detail everywhere. Drives me nuts. And your work is flawless! And you probably did it in half the time 🤣

We love our contractor, but his team of all men, didn't notice the sink was off-center from the window it was supposed to be centered to by 4 INCHES until I pointed it out days later...luckily right before our countertop people were coming to cut our very expensive slab 😳 all 3 of them admitted they didn't notice...
