I saw a video a few years ago where a guy who was out jogging got stopped by police because he matched the description of a burglary suspect he had let the officers detain him and didn't resist in the slightest he didn't even yell at them or anything he was detained for about 10 or 15 minutes when other officers confirmed he was not the suspect so then the guy was immediately released unharmed and ok because he let the cops do their jobs in figuring things out!

If you know you are not the guy they are looking for then let them detain and do whatever they gotta do so you can help prove that your the wrong guy because resisting and trying to take the officers weapon is quite literally the dumbest thing you could ever do if your innocent! He's freaking lucky he didn't get shot for trying to take the tazer!!
