@_gabrielbailey_: The Receipts: ✈️ Return Flights (Ldn > Venice): £35 🚌 Cortina Express (Direct Transfer): £35 🏨 Accommodation (2 Nights, Central): £160 🥪 Food (Groceries > Restaurants): £25 GRAND TOTAL: £275 The Logistics: 1. Off-Season: The £35 flights weren’t a coincidence, they were the result of traveling in the shoulder season. The weather might not be as nice, but the costs will be lower! Plus no crowds 👀 2. No rental car: saved me a headache and several hundred pounds. The Cortina Express Bus is quick and convenient for getting you in and out! I did pay a premium to be in Central Cortina so that trailheads and bus stops were strictly walkable, but for the convenience I think it was worth it 3. Packing Light and Eating Simple: two places where it’s easy to save money. I brought hand luggage only and I ate some delicious local produce from the local shop, but I avoided eating out in more expensive restaurants so I could save some pennies Overall, I think the experience was totally worth it. You don’t need super deep pockets to make your trip to the Dolomites work!
