@curioucope42: 🎈❄️ The balloon that forgets – then remembers A pink balloon gets blasted with super-cold gas — and it instantly shrivels up. A moment later… it slowly returns to its original shape. 💡 What’s Going On? • Cold gas = shrinking air: When the cold gas hits the balloon, the warm air inside cools rapidly. Colder air takes up less space → the balloon collapses. • Rubber stiffens in the cold: The balloon’s material becomes less stretchy, adding to the sudden shrink. • Warming up = reinflating: Once back in normal air, the inside warms again. The air expands and the rubber softens — the balloon re-inflates on its own. A perfect demo of how temperature controls gas volume and elasticity. #EverydayScience #CoolExperiments #Science #STEM #physics
