My hip dips became less noticeable after I started focusing on frog pose and hip rotation. I also practice adjusting my sacrum or tailbone to tilt forward instead of backward, which helps flatten the lower stomach and lengthen the lower back. This prevents the gluteus medius from being pulled forward and creating the dip. I am looking forward to seeing your experiment too!
