If you’re faced with a situation like this it’s understandable that you might want to go in all guns blazing at gossiping can be very disrespectful. Here’s what I would recommend doing instead: 1️⃣ Give yourself time to cool off before having the conversation. Don’t have the conversation when emotions are running high as it’s unlikely to go well. 2️⃣ Be clear about what you want out of it. If you want to influence them to stop gossiping you, will be need to show up to the conversation in a way that is likely to influence that outcome. 3️⃣ Don’t stoop to their level. We want to avoid giving people this amount of control over our reactions.
