as much as I agree with you. vinyl is the best way to listen and are for people that are actually fans. but saying that collectable vinyl is definitely a thing. they release plain generic black vinyl at a cheaper price and sold at mass for a reason

Records have always been baseball cards lol (one record I want was only ever pressed in the eu and is very rare) not so much anymore tho so when you decide to sell your now overpriced plastic you will get less then half of what you paid for it

When I bought my first record I made a decision to open it even though it was going for over 3x the money I bought it for on eBay. I like collecting them to have them and play them and show them off by playing them. Keeping them unsealed is just a disservice to the actual music
