Jack | How To Hoop Forever :
This is not good advice. You can post the same content on both platforms. Focus on quality. Source: me, both for this account (70k TikTok, 100k Instagram with identical content) and used to run social for Beats, Verizon, Microsoft and more.

People don’t like to engage on IG they just stalk and scroll. At least on TikTok people will just tell you whether they love or hate you. I prefer the honesty 😅🙏

IG sucks now and I think ppl are just abandoning the app altogether.

I find it’s harder to grow on Instagram. Lot of people who grew up with you follow you, but don’t interact/support you like strangers will

I post to trial reels on Instagram and it goes to non followers! Then I may post to my followers depending on how the trial reel performed.

It’s Weird on TikTok and Instagram we all know, one day viral next day minimal. I’ve posted a video on TikTok that had gotten 10,000 views and posted the same video to Instagram and only got 12 views. My video was about my Disney Castle Collection

Instagram is weird cuz there’s people I’ll follow today then literally never see their content for weeks tho they posting daily then some people I’ll follow and see them everyday. So idk if it’s fatigue or the algorithm

i feel like instagram matters more about consistent content formats, meaning if you post to much of different things it will confuse the algorithm. This is has happened to me multiple times but when i’m stick to one or few things consistently everyday i notice it reaches the right ppl. Tiktok tho goated
