Nolan has always been that dudebro who thinks he sees something that only he can understand in someone else's much, much better work. His movies are always so boring or confusing with the occasional stunning action scene. I'd rather just rewatch Gladiator

I get the armor to an extent. Mycenaean helmets and armor would’ve looked ridiculous to us, or at least most viewers. We’d all be hung up on that. But the pants aren’t needed surely. Or the wax poncho. C’mon Christopher!
