Ugh my friend and I love Bahian food and had just been there for a week before carnaval. She took me to Yayá which she’d been to many times and it is so delicious. Definitely the best afro-brasileira food I’ve eaten in Rio

As a Yoruba girl, i found yaya disappointing food-wise. But the vibes are immaculate and the drinks too. For food, there’s so much better in Rio. But maybe they’re menu & chef’s now different.
