Okay, but I have what they’re telling me is osteoarthritis in multiple vertebrae at multiple levels in my spine. Is that typical for someone in their fifties who didn’t participate in any kind of punishing athletic pursuits? I think it’s psoriatic arthritis (I have psoriasis), but the docs keep telling me that if it was inflammatory, it would be distinguishable on imaging. However, I’ve read a couple of meta-analyses that say it’s nearly impossible to tell the difference with imaging between osteo and psoriatic for the majority of people.

This is the best news I have heard in a long time. I have osteoarthritis and have been experiencing the most debilitating knee pain for the last 6 weeks. I have exhausted all the treatment modalities and nothing helps. I pray this research is successful. I may not be around but for others who are suffering 🙏🙏🙏

I wonder how long it will be before us normies have access to this. It’s often 20 years. But I’ve been putting off a knee replacement for years already. I had arthroscopic surgery, but it wasn’t very helpful. The steroid shots help, but I worry about the side effects. Also, for those of us w/o a meniscus, will that matter?
