So how do you live with the metal studs? Like say you want to hang a TV on that wall? How do you attach a lag bolt?

Galvanized or not the metal will sweat against the concrete and ruin the drywall. Eventually leading to mold. I’ve seen it a million times. And I’ve seen it so bad where the stud ends up failing from all the rot and just floats. It’s particularly bad in basements

You didn’t put sill gasket down so the steel track will rust.

I’m no HVAC guy but I don’t think you should be screwing into the duct work

no gasket underneath the metal stud is ridiculous. that's in a restaurant in 20 seconds so you need to leave a gap between the foundation wall....

Very expensive and difficult to insulate. Not a good idea in northern climates

Yes metal is straight BUT when you want to hang something, good luck. Insulation same thing. Also wiring isn’t going to be easier.

forgot the 1" minimum air gap between the block wall and the wall you're building.

Sill gasket under that bottom plate would have been smart. It’s gonna rust!!

If I hired you and you try to use metal studs in my walls, I would fire you! I bought a condo that uses metal studs by code and anytime you close any of the interior doors it sounds like the whole wall is gonna fall down! lot of holllow / echo noise wall. Shakes feels very cheap . If you try to install a shelf or a cabinet onto the wall, you feel like the wall is gonna fall down. Wood is structurally superior

I’ve done both, metal is definitely easier but there’s something more satisfying doing it with wood 😂😂
