this still happens in Africa. I work with an orphanage there and earlier this year one of our girls was kidnapped. she was found 3 hours away with 11 other girls, their passports in thr process of being faked. they were taking them to Saudi Arabia. the kidnappers network is known for selling these girls as slaves, and if they won't make good slaves harvest their organs. 12 girls were saved that day... and while the kidnappers are gone their network still exists. it'd so scary.
