She wasn’t given a zero because she cited the Bible. She was given a zero because she didn’t do the assignment. She was supposed to write a paper about an article that discussed the effect of gender, nonconformity among students and how students that don’t have gender stereotypical interests, )boys liking sports or girls liking make up that sort of thing) tend to experience more bullying. Instead, she wrote a babbling rant about how trans people are demonic that didn’t even meet the minimum word count.

the bible is historically accurate and has yet to be disproven. even if you don't belive in the biblical accout of creation nothing has been disproven. even atheists who have tried to disprove the bible have been saved and become Christians ✝️

This didn’t happen. A student was given a 0 for turning in a paper that had absolutely nothing even close to do with the assignment. You stop getting away with just turning something in after elementary school, sorry.

it wasn't cited, though, cause she didn't actually put any sources in it. and it was about bullying children for being atypical in presentation in relation to their gender which isn't about how Christians feel about trans people. it was off topic

1. She did not cite the Bible, her essay contained no citations. 2. The assignment was to read an article about a study from 2013 about gender norms in society and give their views on the study and she effectively wrote 5 pages of "This is wrong and demonic cause God said it is"

I went to UCO in Oklahoma and I never worried about siding the Bible and a paper. My background was science specifically chemistry. However, I don’t see anything wrong with signing the Bible since this contract was founded on the Bible and we still use Bible quotes every day it’s even in our currency. Though people may not agree with the Bible other books are also chosen to be quoted. Should they be banned from being quoted that is part of the freedoms that we have here in this country don’t take those away. People who served work too hard and lost a lot for that very thing. That professor should be counseled. They should not take it personal either. I can’t overstress our freedoms here.
