A code to be read by who? Do you mean that the Universe is a sort of agent that aims to read itself? What do we do with "things" like the Pauli exclusion principle which determines the number of electrons in orbitals? Or charge conservation which determines the number of protons and electrons in an atom? Do we attribute conscious agency to them? If so, why?

I lean toward pan-experientialism, a branch of panpsychism. For me, consciousness is fundamental, not materialistic, and I don’t tie it to quantum physics. That said, I’m open to the idea that consciousness could exist in higher or other planes.

If “all of material reality is the basis of numerical code,” wouldn’t that inadvertently imply your theory is evidence of “The Matrix.” 😳 Furthermore, wouldn’t that also illustrate that ‘A.I. has created an “almost” perfect simulation of their interpretation of reality. 😱

thanks for replying! This makes me think of the double slit experiment. where subatomic particals such as protons, photons, electrons, ect, act as a wave or a particle until it hits a wall, where it's observed. the Strong nuclear force, in our dimension, would be that wall/observer/expressor. would this = consciousness in your argument? maybe higher dimensions it would look like gravity because time is relatively to size? 😳
