Aww bless you!! I was diagnosed in sep 1999 @ the age of only 10 😫 Turning 38 in August , It's an awful disease! my dm is open if anyone wants to share their story.

CRPS is so different for everyone which I think makes it hard to give universal advice and can make it hard to connect. I have CRPS in my right leg and amputation isn’t the right treatment for me. I sometimes use a wheelchair and sometimes I can walk.

I took 2 years to get diagnosed. I wish more providers were educated on it because it was a very straightforward case and it took COUNTLESS providers to diagnose it. Good advice given hope you’re recovering well ❤️

I had a blocked artery which gave me symptoms very similar to yours, I had a major stroke 2 years before so my Gp wouldn't listen to me and just fobbed it off as nerve damage from the stroke. I contacted the physio service as a self referral, it was my physio who listened to me and forwarded me to a specialist who diagnosed the blockage 9 months after it started. If I had listened to my Gp I would also have had my leg amputated. I got lucky and kept my leg but after 9 month of little blood flow it is pretty much numb now. I hope a lot of people take your advice before it's too late.

if you have been diagnosed with CRPS make sure your consultant has had specialist training in CRPS otherwise you will be given insufficient advice and even sometimes the wrong advice. I have suffered with CRPS since 2017 and in the end had a near full leg amputation instead of just my foot.
