PalBakSan (PALe [rice], BAKal [steel], aSAN [fish]) is the center of our town's culture; Palay (rice), which boosts the livelihood of everyone, Bakal (steel) who's strengthens the infrastructures, and Asan (fish) the source of income of Simonians. Also featured are the products from different barangays in our town, such as ITLOG NG ITIK (duck eggs) and SALTED EGGS from Barangay Concepcion, BASKETS that Barangay San Juan takes pride in, PASO (flower pots) crafted by Barangay San Pablo Propio, and BANIG (woven mats) from Barangay Sta. Monica. Indeed, the town of San Simon is truly creative and has something to be proud of with their hard work and perseverance reflected in their products, culture, and traditions.
