I usually comment to lift up other women. Oh you have 3 likes and no comments on your OOTD video? Here I come 👋🏻. And idk, the smaller videos with less engagement are usually the ones where the creator responds and you can have a real conversation. I don’t resonate with the ‘status’ thing either 🤷🏻♀️

If I comment someone’s video it’s because I connected with what you said, I want to support your message, i have information to add to the conversation, I want to push your content, or maybe I want to see more. Maybe when I was in my teens/20s I would think more along those lines but in my 40s I can careless what someone thinks my status is. What does that even mean!?
