Look big things like taking my son to the zoo or aquarium his dad would ask if I’d like to be a part of that. And I did. He asked if I wanted to be a part of them going to the beach one day and I’m not a beach person so I told him to go and enjoy their time together and make memories. Like I wouldn’t be mad if his dad started dating and they cooked something together I wouldn’t even be upset that I wasn’t a part of it or if I wasn’t asked. Like you have to understand as separated parents need good communication AND you have to have the understanding that you will miss some moments because yall are separated. It’ll happen. You’ll have to move on and adapt. Mom is a little wild for this and dad needs a backbone.
