@ericamikal: up next in the series — we’re so close to realizing our dream of a market on the west side of montgomery, alabama. everyone deserves access to real food and FreshGreens Market is our contribution to make that happen. as a black farmer, an advocate for black farmers, and a holistic nutritionist is has become my passion to resource black farmers and connect their food back to the community. not only is is good for our health but the taste of local grown food surpasses anything coming out of the store by a long shot. over the last five years while we preparedt to build the physical location, we’ve started urban farms, built greenhouse, hosted many wellness sessions and community days, and purchased properties like a farm. now more than ever it’s essential we focus on our own health and wellness, our communities, and staying lifted. I’m so grateful we responded to the ancestral call five years ago to make it to this spot today.
