So what is a solid foundation? 1. The right side of your body can move like the left side of your body. 2. The muscles on the front of your body can work with the muscles on the back of your body. 3. The ankles, knees, hips, and shoulders all have the minimum range of motion needed. movement so faulty movement patterns don’t form and erode the quality of movement. 4. Movement patterns like walking, squatting, lunging, twisting, bending, and reaching overhead are prioritized over performance metrics. You can do whatever you want if your foundation is strong, mobile, stable, and balanced. Whether it's building muscle and getting as strong as possible like Tanner, losing weight, getting in shape, or pursuing a new sport, hobby, or activity.
