Guys hes not saying low reps are bad. The thing about many people who do low volume and high intensity is that they lack form and are more prone to ego lift. As long as you have good form and slow the eccentric theres not going to be an issue

They can work fantastic. As a dude in his late 40’s for some areas like elbows higher reps just feel better. I still do low reps where they feel ok tho
