Try talking to her because if she’s not doing a good job she needs to know. We need to help the younger generation learn to be skilled at the job they are doing if we don’t they will never learn. We can be kind giving advice to the younger generation.

My husband has been washing my hair for a year. I’ve had back to back frozen shoulders 😢. Would not call it relaxing 😂 he is not gentle even though he claims to be trying LOL, but at least I get it done at my convenience and tipping…. Well…. 😊

As a hairstylist, say something, you are not going to hurt our feelings. We don’t know you don’t like something if you don’t tell us. If she is new and has not been taught how to properly shampoo she may not even realize what she’s doing wrong ( you’d be surprised what gets overlooked in hair school)

You have to tell her - their training missed and she will keep doing it if you don’t tell her. The nice way is to say will you make sure to do the underneath right here really well and that will draw her attention to the area. I’m sure she’s scared because it’s a tricky spot to maneuver without getting the client completely soaked, which is why I assume she skips it. You could also just let the manager know for training purposes that you’re not complaining but that you know that it’s a tricky thing because they have to learn how to direct the nozzle so that it doesn’t spray down your back.

Do not lower the tip! Dont fault her for doing something wrong that she doesn’t know she’s doing wrong! Just say something. We need a follow up after your next wash.
