I don't think any upright Muslim, let alone the Dawah Bros put him on a pedestal, nor treat him as a role model. He recieved much attention because he's an influencer who has a huge fanbase. Having him on your side as a proper Muslim could do good. But, unfortunately, not all leads come through. This is the way of the world, and the Dawah must go on.
