Are service animals for anxiety allowed on flights? I have a fear of flying and am hoping to get one some day :)

I’m just super curious (coming from a genuine place)- why no vest or leash wrap? If this is a true task trained service dog then they don’t technically need one, but not having any actual gear really makes this seem a lot more like “I want to fly with my dog- here is how I fly with my pet dog and you can too” vs “I have a service dog that is task trained, and accompanies me everywhere because I need one due to a legitimate disability”

Was your SD scared the first time they flew? I have one and he’s been trained to be perfect in all areas and desensitized to noise but obviously I can’t test how he’d be in an actual plane especially during takeoff. My fear is always people thinking he’s an ESA or I’m lying just because he got nervous in a situation he’s never been trained for so I wanted to hear your experience! Also like does it hurt their ears to fly?

I don’t know how you could possibly guarantee that your dog wouldn’t have to go to the bathroom. My girl is so unpredictable

My English cream is 6m and I’m training. He still gets excited when seeing people and it’s something we are working on. I’m flying in December and I’m flying with him as I live alone and my family lives miles away. How can I keep h settled and calm on the flight so TSA doesn’t kick me out?

You have to have a service animal trained though. The airlines have called our trainer many times to ensure he truly is a service animal

I have been considering getting a service dog but I love to travel. I travel solo, how would I deal with a dog that size if they’re too big to fit in one person foot space?

He fits on the floor of your space or two? My 83 pound bully I fear would need the whole row to lay down
