Actually I’ve researched all this, they were actually electric, they were charged by Nicholas Tesla‘s tower charging stations. They weren’t for long distance travel but truly a forgotten era in our time

here's a thought, how many times have planes amd helicopters failed, yet they are still being used and relied on heavily. Yet just 1 airship incident and they are not used anymore???

I hate to be that guy but we don’t use airships because the only option is hydrogen. It’s just to dangerous too use it. Now if someone wants to shell out the 6 billion it would cost for the helium alone plus the rest of the ship, I’d definitely go for a ride.
