What people don’t understand about the EU and the fda is they are different when it comes to testing. This goes for food as well! What’s the main difference? Money. We are so lucky and fortunate enough that the fda has insane amounts of money for testing. The EU does not. So if something gets banned from the eu it doesn’t mean because it tested bad, it most likely means they didn’t have the money to test it how they would like to. So the easier option is to ban it all together. The other thing people don’t realize is labels are different. FDA requires you to put every ingredient listed. The EU does NOT. Things are labeled underneath codes. The Eu has not banned red dyes. You just don’t know how to read their labels. The FDA is a GOOD thing. Remember the dosage makes the poison. Most of the studies people refer to are studies where they pump something at the volume of something we would never humanly be able to do. For example, pump red dye into rats. The amount the pump them with, you’d have to consume only red dye ALL DAY FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. Having your red Gatorade is safe.
