At about 45 s, not the very first time your pitch was higher, but the second time you said ‘even like, ok’, you were in a sweet spot. Your pitch had started to come back down slightly, but also your tone was softer? more relaxed ?? My opinion is that is a beautiful spot for you to work toward. ❤️

As a cis woman, I obviously can’t say I relate. But, I can say that my voice is 100% manufactured. I picked this voice because I never liked my natural squeaky voice. I watched hours of movies with hot vocal fry valley girls and repeated them as they spoke. That was 20 years ago and it worked so well that it’s completely natural to me now. Maybe if you have a voice you love, it might help.

Your voice can sound more feminine without changing the pitch by changing where sounds are produced and how you are shaping your mouth when you produce them. Vocal coaching can help with that as long as the person specializes in gender

I’ve recently seen several videos of folks (even cis folks) learning to find their natural voice. Turns out many of us use a fake voice of some kind. I think voice coaching will help you find YOUR voice. That’s the most important part. Something you are comfortable with.

Have you looked for transgender voice speech pathologists in your area? I’m an SLP, and I think your voice is beautiful as is. If you’re wanting to explore how to use it differently, an SLP could really help guide you, especially if you’re already voice trained and familiar with how to move it around.

It's not the pitch that makes a voice feminine .. it's the softness, the breath the volume but also the words you use. As a natural storyteller your empathy and compassion read feminine IMO

Your voice doesn’t sound masculine or feminine to me, it’s pretty neutral. That being said, obviously do what makes you happy. I do want to add that I love the cadence and way you speak, it’s very calming.

My bestie never voice trained & I love her voice but I 100% support you doing ANYTHING that makes you happy or helps keep you safe. I actually think your higher register sounds fairly natural. But I will say I love your natural voice already 🤘🏻🖤

When you first did the higher voice, it did sound cartoonish. But when you softened it immediately after that first sentence, it was more femme but not cartoonish.

Same I have been doing it for 3 years now and the longer you do it during the day the easier it gets but I did find out cough drops help me to get my voice going and singing with the radio helps me a lot

I took voice coaching for a while after I got a job at a mine where I had to lead meetings where I was almost always the only woman in the room. Use what ever tools you need in your journey toward peace and completion. There’s a goddess in you. She needs your help to be expressed.
