Looks delicious. Try making a batter with flour, eggs, parsley, garlic and cheese. Dip cardone in batter and fry. Love them!!

Wow! Had these many times when l lived in NY as a child. They were a favorite and my gramma made them just like this. She’d take them out after frying, sprinkle some salt, pecorino and lay it between warm slices of Italian bread for our lunch. Always had a tomato, basil, and oil salad and l’d dunk my sammy n the juice. Thank you for shaking loose that memory 💕. Wish l could find them here.
