I feel bad for him. Clearly he has made some bad choices, like all of us have. But he obviously loved Taylor. She kept breaking up with him, she has hurt him over and over as well. Hurt people hurt people. They were broken up. She dates her friends ex's. I like Taylor but the double standards make me crazy. Dakota does not deserve to be treated like he is a horrible person and I hope he never goes back into that toxic environment. The fact is that feeding, clothing, bathing a child etc. sure makes you a decent dad, but a GOOD dad respects and cares for their child’s mother, doesn’t purposefully cause them or their family upset/harm and doesn’t take actions that they k ow will cause the child upset and sheer embarrassment when they are older.

You were right. Taylor should have and could have defended how you are as a dad while still saying she just wishes she wasn’t tied to you.
