Have your bank block charges. It will not hurt your credit, it will hurt HIS if HE chooses not to cancel it that is HIS problem not yours.

You do know you can call your bank have them do a stop payment. A stop payment will stop that payment and all future payments until it’s removed by you therefore eventually he will either pay it and cancel it or it will go into collections in his name. Hope this helps!
