I have trouble focusing but love reading. Audiobook + the actual book in front on me has been a game changer.

I have dyslexia and ADHD, so audiobooks for me are at 1.5-2 speed.

I have ADHD and i found this really interesting cognitive psychology book that i only read at night in silence, peace and quiet. One thing i picked up from it is to savor every word you read to remember it better like read one word at a time instead of reading it fast .

Could you please make a list of your recommended books so we can take a screen shot and then have the whole list to look for each of them?

Their is an intimacy, commitment to reading to other people. It's nice to read to a friend or partner.

I’m following along watching each video in this series to see if I get that hook to want to read it by listening to what you’re reading. Firstly, you’re an excellent reader and make it so enjoyable to listen to. And so far I want to read both books you’ve read. So now I’m wondering if it’s you or the books themselves haha. But they are now on my TBR. As someone who reads often and listens to books it’s interesting hearing you read and watch you at the same time still triggers the hook to the story which I’ve never experienced before. Anyways thanks for sharing! I’ll keep watching and listening to the next ones!

I like challenging myself to read authors with voices I’ve never heard before. Tone and style can be so unique, I try to appreciate that even if I don’t find them super pleasing to read
