when i was younger i always felt unpopular with the girls. i now know that i wasn't. anyway, life went on and now i have little experience romantically but a lot in working on myself. my standards have gone up and up. i rarely meet women that would be worth heartache. friendship. sure. a good talk. sure. dating? what for? so i get to do a little dance to entertain, impress and pay for it on top? be ffr. so no. "dating" seems like an utter pain. maybe i'll meet that person one day, that lets me have a full range of emotions without all the patriarchal bs and interacts as an actual *equal*. where i don't have to play the role of MAN or demonstratively flog myself for w/e her dipshit exes did. would love a partnership like that. just knowing that we both don't care to find "a better option" and just standing side by side as two whole individuals. i'm not going to find it in some stupid little courtship play.
