They are correct . I just got bk from touring Europe and the only place we seen an overweight person was at the airport. We visited the largest grocery store and there are major differences in food quality and choices. Vegetables and fruits n breads n cheese were much larger and cheaper than what we have in the US . I found no difference in the portions at restaurants the only difference was the choices of food. Fish n chips were my favorite. The biggest difference was the transportation. People rode bikes or the subway or busses or they walked keeping them in great shape .

It is the excess fat, and excess sugar in everything we buy here. Unless you shop wisely, and cook at home, but that's VERY expensive.

They are absolutely right. We eat way too much junk food, don't exercise. Have unhealthy habits... smoking, consume excessive amounts of alcohol. It's a fact.
