Too confusing and sounds expensive I’ll just stick to my half working nbn while paying top price for so many drop outs or poor connection

Ubiquiti / Unify is better and easier to use

I ended up hardwiring my mesh system as the speed drop off when I was connected to a satellite was crazy. Now it’s solid through the house

And mesh just means Extender. Less confusing.

So you're saying it's the same as a range extender..

Since my internet upgrade of fiber my old mesh no longer works. I need to upgrade to new mesh devices. What do you recommend?

I like mine. We get 800mbps in the lounge room and 200mbps upstairs where before the mesh you couldn’t even connect to the wifi. It’s been the best thing. We’ve got zero black spots and with decent speed

We have a really long house and when I got Starlink the range on its modems were not that great so I got a Mesh System and it has been exceptional! Best money I have spent in terms of internet 🛜 they are much better than a range extender I have to say also.

we installed a mesh wifi system at a car dealership that covered about 3 blocks, this was back in about 2010, switched it on, got it working, we had the settings a little wrong as it took out every mobile network in a 1km radius 🤣🤣 the wifi worked well👍

So if I have a separate building which has power connected from house will that work. The separate building is 20 metres away.

You should say Ethernet cable, most people don’t understand the E word.

My gateway eero downloads at 500mbps but the other two on the mesh won’t go higher than 100mbps. Any suggestions Trev?

Oh I’m considering adding another satellite to my house to plug straight into my Foxtel box. It always drops out and I just worked out I can plug from satellite to the box too. Thanks for confirming!

Would I still get 500mbps from the satellite if tge router gets 500mbps or does the speed drop off a bit from the Satellite? And is there any lag?
