i spent three months working in the US and gained 10 lbs AND I was moving A LOT. It’s the food quality i fear, i lost all of it within a month of being back in my country 😭

At the end of the day, it's only a year, and yes, you're trying all these new and exciting experiences, and in doing so, you eat a lot more than you're used to. However, it's also the Christmas season when food intake increases. In 6 months, when you move back from Utah to Denmark, you'll burn off all that weight quicker than you'll realise. From your videos, I can see you're loving your time in the States, but particularly Utah and truthfully speaking can't blame you for that and Utah is absolutely beautiful, well the parts I've witnessed anyway but I take it you're probably more in the South Lake area whereas when I come to Utah I go to Washington mainly the St George part. Love the fact you're doing a year studying abroad in the States, gotta admit I'm kinda jealous as it's certainly an opportunity I would have loved to partake in.

During my exchange year in Germany everyone got extra weight. I heard back then that it’s very common. Even someone eho went to Japan gained extra. But I can confirm that I lost it very easily just when going back home to the ”normal”. Enjoy the new experiences! 🥰

I gained 15 lbs on my exchange year to Brasil. All of the exchange students I hosted over the years also gained weight. We all lost it upon returning to our respective countries.
