Here’s a thought, if she wants to come up and you say you don’t have to come up all the time, but then you go and pick her up anyway it’s confusing her. As as much as I love you that’s just really confusing her.

We used to have kids dinner, a couple nights a week. Feed them their own dinner, early, then early bed time and then fix dinner for u & ur partner.

i love how you show her having tantrums etc cus sometimes i feel like only my toddler gets really wingy or tantrumy compared to other kids and i feel like im doing something wrong 🥲 but seeinf you go through this i feel less alone and seen

There's actually this thing they go through after daycare apparently it's because they try and behave all day they build up all these emotions 🤷🏼♀️

You are her safe space. she feels regulated enough to wait until shes disregulated with you. thats so good. introduce a 20 min quiet time with a snack, some nice music after, just you two, or with dad, to decompress from the day. theres so much around the house to get done at that time but its worth taking some time out.

my almost 3yo makes me want to go back and apologise to 2yo him for thinking he was a crazy devil spawn... as frustrating as it is (and terrifying... purely terrifying) I remind myself one day it will stop, one day he won't need me to be there every single second, its all worth the snuggles in the morning and night ❤️sending massive hugs and strength your way! from one toddler mumma to another x
