I do this as a manager and so many people on tiktok call me awful. If you only show up for 10hrs, I'm only gonna give you 10hrs. Do you think I like calling and begging people (who deserve their time off) to come in when you don't show up? it isn't fair to anyone

I used to be like that before but nope! Now I schedule them their max so more call outs = more attendance points and you can terminate faster 💯 if you cut their hours , more advantage for them but stack up their hours they will be sweating lol

I have 2 employee's that are late every single shift they work. At least 20+ minute's. Management does not care at all. They still get 40+ hour's a week & one got promoted to a Shift Lead with more pay.

literally My one friend got fired because almost every single time he worked, he would have me covered his shift and the manager got sick of it. So he just fired him.

as a dishwasher, I love when I know the only reason my hours are cut at all is because of the time of year and labor cuts. never once did they cut my hours because I didnt show. other people tho... (let's just say i got their hours too👀)

I tell potential employees up front no call no show is automatic termination. If you call off excessively I’ll cut your hours, if you still can’t come in or be on time I’ll just let you go. It’s not fair to the ones that are there to pick up your slack.

I had a coworker say to me, “Why is your requested time off always approved?! She never does mine!” Uhhh maybe because I listen when she says do it 3 weeks in advance and not two days beforehand? Maybe because I always make sure if I call out or am late, I do it at least 3 hours before my shift like she asks us to? Maybe because I’m always on task and do my job right? Have you tried that?
