Had the best experience in Tibet, at Lhasa People's Hospital in November, as a tourist. In 1 hour, I was seen by a doctor, did blood exams and a CT to my lungs, received the results, and was prescribed intravenous antibiotics for a bacterial infection, all for around 50 euros. Was very impressed! This would never happen in my country (Portugal) or in Germany (where I live).

Two Worlds :
I went to the hospital today in uk.. . exactly 12 months (1 year) after referral ☹️, and the cost of the parking used up much of the £25.... 😂 We live in a free flowing and blooming democracy - subsidizing wars abroad, whilst the local citizens suffer on every front... happy days...

These health checks don’t mean too much. You might pick up some stuff but you could have heart disease (ecg not very useful for that ) or a cancer …..they are quite limited in checking your health
