are you looking to have a repeatable chart? I’m imagining something similar to a colorwork knitted yoke. In that case, I think you could chart the repeated design and provide instructions on how to begin and end it and how it might interact with sizing but have the single small chart.

depends on the patern the colorwork. if you pick a repeat one that can fit into the sleeves part, you could pull it off by make the increases a different colour and it will look like a border was drawn. i dont know if i am making any sense to you 😅

colorwork can be how you make it you could have a colorwork yolk yes but you could have a colorwork pattern that starts at the same point and is just a square or rectangle on the front instead of repeating in the round the Redlands increases outside the colorwork but it really is a matter of what you are into

Ok hear me out, idk if this would work but uk how for knitting each increase adds 2 stitches to the front of the raglan and 2 to the back and 2 to each sleeve. If u made a colorwork chart in increments of 2??? But it would limit the design ig. Maybeee it will work. Prob not but just spitballing

typically a chart that has is over increases or decreases will have a symbol for "no stitch" so you can adjust the edges and you'll typically have a section in the middle that has red bars on either side showing the part you repeat until you get close to where the next increase is. you can definitely get a mostly continuous design in a raglan with just a tiny break along the raglan line. if you go on ravelry and use the filters attributes->colorwork->stranded and attributes->design elements ->sleeve->raglan there are a lot of examples some with really intricate motifs.

a continous colourwork like a circular yoke would be tricky with a raglan. the creator below made hers just a rectangular chart right in the middle leaving the increasing sides blank.
