Let him learn how to weld, maybe put him in a beginners or kids program. Check around at your local high schools, I’m sure one of the teachers would love to teach him. Welders get paid big bucks where I’m from. That boy will be really well off if he keeps with it.

I went to a technical high school for welding and got into the trade that way with no student loan dept I’d check if you have any in your area cuz at 13 now would be the time to apply for those schools for next year

Hannah my son is turning 17 right after Christmas in January. would you be able to put the link of where you got all those welding things. He actually started this year taking a welding class and he loves it. This would be an awesome Christmas gift for him.

I love that you encourage them to March to the beat of their own drum. My daughter went through a phase of wanting to eat snacks in the tub and insisting I feed them to her, I'm like ma'am. where, what, how did you come up with this? then realized she was going behind me on YouTube and watching videos, and came across Wyatt's spa day. I had to buy "tub strawberries" for 2 years. she's almost 13 now, and ngl, I kinda miss the tub strawberries phase.

When he gets to high school, look into sending him to a technical school! There’s one in my area that’s high school and adult ed (I’m in the adult nursing program at the school) they have tons of trade options like welding, construction, CDL, electrical tech, and a bunch of other ones too. He would be able to pursue his hobby and get a career out of it right out of high school! :)

My 13 year old actually learned how to do welding in a “career exploration” class. It was a computer program but still my husband let him try it out for real. I love it!
