Disassociation. Most powerful coping tool a child of a narcissist uses. Unfortunately this doesn’t go away even after therapy, healing and many years apart from parents like this. Many times you can spot it in an adult who has a far off look or dead eyes, they hear you but they are completely somewhere else in their mind. Trust me I know.

Sometimes children don't look at in the eyes of their parents because of fear they are afraid of their parents but if they keep ignoring their parents sometimes autism or just matigas ang ulo ng bata they don't care about their parent and keep ignoring them

Explain for thos who don't know. The point of the video is that a child who "doesn't look you in the eye" and "is silent" is actually using a survival mechanism. The child withdraws (it's called "freeze" or "shutdown" reaction) because they don't feel safe in the presence of their parent. Avoiding eye contact is often a sign that the child is trying to remain "invisible" in order to avoid conflict or the emotional burden that the parent imposes
