@olivia.4thegirls: 1. carbs are your friend! - eating carbs the night before and some quick carbs right before your class will give you so much more energy and stamina during your workout 2. mindset - when your brain tells you to give up, your body still has 40% left to give, remember this when it gets hard 3. routine - it’s crucial to have a pre/post class routine. Pre class do something to hype you up and get you in the mindset, like music or visualization. Post class get a smoothie/coffee/snack with the girls and reward yourself. 4. progression - when you advance and the reps get easier, challenge yourself with more than you think you can handle and increase the resistance/weight. This is where faster progress comes from 5. outfit - in reality nobody notices or cares how much you spent on your set or how new it is, buy from last seasons alo/lulu sales or use a site like 4thegirls.cards to get alo/lulu giftcards for free. 6. recovery - recovery is crucial. build a routine outside of the gym, stretching, sauna, etc. to help your body heal. always give yourself enough time for your body to recover, if that means taking a day off, thats ok. hope this helps :) #girlytok #pilatesaesthetic #pilatesprincess
