I think it started with popup clubs. 5 trashy people with bikes together and call themselves a club and their actions are pushed by the media as an example off all others that stand strongly against that. It's the same way they push narratives when it comes to all groups. The bad minority make it worse for the decent majority thanks to the trashy media.
