@futureshelf: Ikea Canada turned cooking into “follow the pictures” and it instantly went viral. Pro tip: The best campaigns remove friction so fast you understand them in 1 second. Ikea Canada found a new way to simplify cooking, and once again created a market sensation. They launched recipes you literally do not need to read. Instead of a normal recipe card, the instructions were printed directly on parchment paper using simple pictures. You just place each ingredient right on top of the matching drawing, roll the paper up, and put it in the oven. That is the genius part. Zero measuring frustration. Zero rereading steps. It turns cooking into “follow the shapes” like it’s a game. And it worked. The campaign reportedly sold over 12,000 of these recipe sheets. Why did this blow up? Because it is pure Ikea. Remove friction, make life easier, and design something so visual that it is instantly shareable. It was built for social media, not adapted for it. Comment IKEA and I’ll send you the breakdown PDF. #marketing #advertising #branding #brandstrategy #copywriting

Nice. I see this is about inclusion. There are folks who may have difficulty with measuring due to disability or lack of measuring tools. Also, I think this would be a fun way for children or newbies to get interested in cooking.

I would love to get a hold of a bunch of these, i work with adults with disabilities and ones who cant read recipes and in general dont know how to cook and these types of paper would guide them into healthier eating and working towards being more independent.

I think this is great for new cooks. it's the spices that intimidate young chefs. No mess, I would get these for my grandbabies. where can I order??
